Why SmallCarbon® exists.
The built environment is directly responsible for about a quarter of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions. To bring that down, architects need to measure the carbon in their work, and reduce it.
Studio Bark built the first prototypes to do that on its own projects. The tools available did not suit small practices, or small and bespoke projects.
SmallCarbon® opens carbon counting to more of the industry, so that it becomes a normal part of designing a building.
